El Paso for Memorial Day

We went to El Paso for Memorial Day and had a great time visiting the Turley's. We spent part of one day at a park which was a great place to take pictures.

The two pictures of Duane were just too cute not to include in a blog!

Scanning slides into the computer has given me the chance to look at a lot of pictures we haven't seen in years. Sorry that I couldn't get them in the correct order. Just enjoy

Christmas 1980, what cute girls. This was when Mom used to sew clothes for her girls.

What a happy family!

Before our wedding reception at the Rosemont Chapel in El Paso, Texas
We weren't really tanned, just taken with an ancient camera.
Can it possibly have been 35 years since we were married in the Provo Temple?

A Blast from the Past

A few fun shots from a trip to see Marci and Caleb in Oregon after Gavin was born.
If only we all had this kind of sense of humor.
Getting ready for a run when it was way too cold, and windy and rainy for it. (Yes, that is a hotel towel underneath the hood.)
(todays blog updates courtesy of Marci) ;-)

Cute grandkids and Demolition Party

Just a crazy shot of some of the the smaller grandkids
Joshua, Hannah, Rachel, Cheyenne holding Henry, Gavin and Morgan

Poor Miran had pink eye on her visit and wasn't quite her usual happy self.
We helped Heidi and Mark tear off their garage in order to make way for a new addition that will expand the size of their living space. The little Larson girls had lots of fun coming through the old doggie door.
Here is Rachel peeking out.
And Sarah part way through.

Time Out for Women and Girls- In Phoenix

One of the greatest days of my life was having all 4 of my daughters, and 2 granddaughters with me at a special and spiritual event. We all went to a Time Out for Women and Girls in Phoenix, AZ this weekend.
Abe Mills, from the group Jericho Road, was a presenter at the event. Bridgett waited in line to get his autograph and he was rushed away right when she got to the front of the line. At the next break, we headed up to try again, and he saw Bridgett and waved her over to the front of the line. He was so nice to her, and gave her the sweetest autograph. She was so excited and cheered extra loudly for him after that.
